Monthly Lodge Education
- Unless otherwise noted on the monthly calendar Masonic Education is held on
the 4th Thursday of each Month at 7:00 PM. Check with the Sr. Warden or Lodge
Masonic Education Chairman for the topics and courses to be discussed.
Masonic Leadership Training and Schools of Instruction -
Materials for the
Masonic Leadership Training
Program. are available from the Grand Lodge Website. MLT seminars are held generally each quearter at the district level. Check the District 17 website for details.
The district and zone also offer Schools of instruction on
an as needed basis. Contact your district Instructor for details.
Master Mason Exams - Study material and exams for the Master Mason I, II and III courses can be
found on the Grand Lodge website. Upon completion submit your
exams to the district Masonic Education chairman.
The Master Mason Exams are a typical topic for Monthly Lodge Education.
Lodge Officers Training Course - Study material
and exams for the
Lodge Officers Training
course. Every officer of the lodge and those Masons aspiring to the "line"
are highly encourages to take this course. Upon
completion submit your exams to the zone chairman on Masonic education. The
Lodge Officers Training Course is a typical topic for Monthly Lodge Education.
Open Books - Open books is a chance to see the esoteric
work printed in plain English. The books are avaiable fopr use the 1st Wednesday of the month
at Harbor City Lodge, No 318, Melbourne.
6:00 PM. Catechism instructors, ritualisists, lodge instructors, lectureres -
and indeed all Masons are highly encouraged to learn the proper ritual.
Masonic Digest - Every Mason, and
especially lodge officers should be familiar at least with the Masonic Digest.
The
Masonic Digest
chapters, forms, figures and such is available at the Grand Lodge website.
